Drive by baby

Meaghan was pregnant with her second child and her body did not skip a beat. She labored at home for a few hours and knew it was time. Started feeling pushy in the car on the way to the birth center and her baby was born less than 30 minutes later into her loving arms. She reflected a few hours later on her experience and said "The first birth was like getting hit by a truck. This one felt like a drive by!" She held baby on her chest, eyes closed, grounding back into her body before checking the gender. It's a girl! Her family joined her for a cord burning ceremony to intentionally take the time to give thanks to the placenta and sing happy birthday to the baby. Such a sweet day that filled my soul with love and a deep rooted feminine knowing that we are held.
